As the EcoHub Ecological Initiatives Support Public Association, we have launched a large-scale tree planting campaign in order to increase green areas in our country together with PASHA Holding and Trendyol! Within the framework of this initiative, a total of 12,500 trees are planned to be planted on an area of ​​more than 10 hectares. In the first stage of the campaign, 500 Eldar pine and olive trees were planted in the Mushfigabad settlement of Baku on April 25. In addition, 5,000 trees were planted in the Goygol district. In the next tree planting season, new green areas are planned to be established in the Lankaran-Astara, Sheki-Zagatala and Guba-Khachmaz regions. With this initiative, we aim to contribute to environmental protection, increasing biodiversity and reducing the impact of climate change. As EcoHub, we continue to work for a greener future!

The drinking water supply of Marzandiyya village of Shamakhi is being improved at the initiative of “EcoHub”. On December 20, the presentation of the project “Improving the water supply of Marzandiyya village of Shamakhi region” was held at the Shamakhi City Creativity Center, organized by the Azerbaijan State Water Resources Agency (ADSEA) and the Shamakhi District Executive Power, initiated by the “EcoHub” ecological platform, and implemented within the framework of the “Sustainable Water Initiatives” Program with the support of the Coca-Cola Foundation and the Global Water Challenge Coalition.

On November 30, the next tree planting campaign was held in partnership with Unibank and EcoHub Public Association to protect nature and increase green areas. 🌿 Within the framework of this initiative, olive and pine trees were planted, contributing to the restoration of ecological balance and the creation of a healthier future. 💚

The final round of the Sustainability Ideation Challenge was held on October 12, 2024. In the competition, which received more than 100 applications, participants attracted attention with their creative and innovative ideas in the field of sustainability. At the end of the two rounds, 20 teams were selected to participate in the final round and presented their projects to a jury of experts in their fields.

Within the framework of the "Year of Solidarity for a Green World", the Bravo supermarket chain has launched a new ecological project to promote the recycling of plastic waste. The main goal of the project is to contribute to the protection of the environment and the efficient use of natural resources by promoting the proper management and recycling of plastic waste. Within the framework of the project, which is an initiative of the EcoHub Public Union, implemented with the support of the Coca Cola Foundation and the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, plastic waste will be collected through plastic recycling containers placed in front of Bravo hypermarkets. These containers are available in Bravo hypermarkets located in Koroglu, 20 Yanvar, Ahmadli m/s and Babek avenues.

The organization of EcoHub PU, with the participation of employees and volunteers of "Norm" OJSC, cleaned the seaside area of ​​the settlement from waste. Waste collected from an area of ​​about 0.6 hectares was sorted and handed over. 🌱💚

For your information, we, as EcoHub, have placed specially designed waste collection bins in the office of PwC, an international consulting and auditing company, as part of our commitment to environmental protection and sustainability. ♻️ These bins are designed for plastic, paper and glass waste, respectively, and encourage a responsible approach to waste management and #recycling, as well as playing an important role in increasing the eco-responsibility habits of employees.

Organized by the ecological platform “EcoHub”, a large-scale ecological campaign called “Let's Protect the Caspian Sea!” ended on September 16 as part of the International Coastal Cleanup Day. ♻️🌊 From September 1 to 16, the campaign covered the beaches of Khachmaz, Lankaran, Astara, Shabran, Siyazan, Neftchala, and Sumgayit on the Caspian Sea and concluded in Baku. 1,500 volunteers cleaned an area of ​​approximately 11 hectares of more than 5 tons of waste.💚

Coca-Cola Azerbaijan, in partnership with the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources and the EcoHub platform, is holding a “Spring Cleanup” campaign on the eve of World Recycling Day under the slogan “Let's clean up the environment this spring.” ♻️ As part of the campaign, plastic waste will be collected from citizens at the collection point located in the Deniz Mall Shopping Center.
