On April 28, the project to be implemented within the framework of the "World Without Waste" program was launched in the city of Shamakhi. This global program is implemented by the "Coca-Cola" company in order to reduce the negative impact of plastic waste on the environment in our country. The project, implemented with the support of Coca-Cola Foundation, Ecohub environmental executive partnership, the cooperation of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources and local executive authorities, will be organized in the next stages in the cities of Ganja, Sumgayit, Mingachevir, Gabala and Guba. Environmental opinion polls will be held within the "World Without Waste" program. The purpose of conducting a project survey is to learn the attitude of the population to recycling and sorting of waste, as well as to collect their suggestions about sorting and to monitor this dynamic from year to year. Based on the collected and processed survey results, effective mechanisms will be developed together with the relevant agencies to take appropriate steps. The project, which includes the collection of plastics as a pilot, plans to collect and recycle other packaging waste in the future. In addition to educational activities among different population groups and catering establishments, special programs will be organized for schoolchildren, advanced educational practices will be used to increase their awareness in this direction. At the event, volunteers presented an educational eco-play "Tik-Tik Khanim" for schoolchildren, and musical numbers of cultural heralds were performed.
